Must be able to use a sewing machine. If you have no experience, please book one of our beginner's sewing classes before this class begins.
What to bring
A few items of clothing to upcycle - this could be anything from old jeans with holes in them, curtains, or perhaps a few items you've bought in a charity shop that you'd like to resize or revamp.

The Edinburgh Sewcial Club first opened its doors in 2014 teaching garment making, sewing machine skills, pattern cutting, embroidery and other textiles crafts to people of all ages, levels of ability and experience in evening and weekend workshops and courses in Meadowbank, Edinburgh.Our relaxing, fun, social classes are a great way to try something new and learn a practical craft and skill! Now, as well as dressmaking and sewing there are also a number of other textile crafts taught, beading, embroidery, upcycling & mending even fleece mermaid tail blankets! Our 'sewcial club' is a friendly environment to get creative!Come and discover what you can do!
