What you'll do
Join this watercolour painting class with artist Lou Davis and discover a relaxing way to explore your creativity.Whether you are completely new to watercolours or an experienced painter looking to unwind, this workshop is a perfect fit. There is no need to feel intimidated by the medium; Lou uses simple and approachable patterns to help you get acquainted with the paints. It is a chance to shut out the outside world, focus your mind, and simply enjoy the process of creating in a stress-free environment.You will work through three distinct projects, learning how to control the paint to achieve various effects. You will discover how to mix and blend colours, either on your palette or directly on the page, to create soft transitions. To finish, you will embellish your work with fine details using pen and shimmering gold watercolour.You will leave the session feeling calmer and more centred, having found a peaceful escape through art. You will take home your three beautiful paintings and the skills to continue exploring this mindful practice on your own.
