What you'll do
These scrunchies are simple to make once you get the hang of them - making them a fantastic project for beginners to start with. Not to mention that they're very cool. Scrunchies are everywhere at the moment, and learning to crochet your own means that you can make one in every colour, for yourself and as gifts!
This workshop is designed to be totally accessible for beginners and will talk you through the pattern and crochet stitches together. So don't worry if you've never picked up a hook before.
Crocheting is an incredibly mindful and relaxing craft and, when you become proficient with the stitches, you will find that you can bring your crocheting out anytime you have a spare 5 minutes to relax.
All materials are included in this workshop, but if you'd like to bring your own, you're more than welcome! You'll need: 5mm hook and DK weight yarn.
You will cover the ins and outs of crochet patterns and stitches. Throughout this textiles class, you'll soon start to feel the calming and mindful benefits of crochet, build your confidence and maybe even find your new favourite hobby.
