Hi there! I am Serena, I am 25 and have been crocheting from the age of 7. Crochet is my art form, my therapy and my way to disconnect from the pressures of modern-day life. It's a joyous, mindful hobby which I believe can make such a positive impact on people's mental health and overall wellbeing.In my 1-2-1 beginner class, I want to find out from you your goals and aspirations. Do you want to make blankets? Scarves? Clothing? Home accessories? Or maybe you just want to learn the basics and go on your journey of discovery! Whatever you choose, I am here to teach you the basics such as the fundamental stitches, how to read patterns, how to hold your yarn, progressing onto more complicated stitches and working in the round just to name a few!You will receive a complimentary crochet hook and ball of yarn to get you going on your first lesson, however of course if you have your own you are more than welcome to use yours instead!I am a mobile teacher, visiting you in the comfort of your own home. I am patient and understand people learn at different speeds and pick some things up easier than others. So please don't hesitate to book in, I'd love to be a part of your journey into the wonderful world of crochet.
