The Fermentarium is an independent organisation dedicated to promoting the small-scale production of “real” fermented food and drink. The adventure began in 2014, beginning with sourdough bread and pizza making.Owners, Simon and David, wanted to share their knowledge and experience with others and started running lactic fermentation classes. Eventually, they were joined by Anna in 2016 and added further classes to their repertoire including kombucha, soft fermented drinks, cultured condiments and dairy ferments.They run interactive and exciting classes that share the love for fermented foods with others. Whether you're a newbie or well experienced, anyone can join. Corporate events and private courses can also be catered for.
