Whether you're getting married and want to create some bespoke wedding rings or you're keen to craft a handmade accessory for daily wear, this silversmithing workshop in Bristol will see you designing and creating your own one-of-a-kind silver ring.
Your teacher, Charlotte, will help you with design inspiration informed by her years of experience. She will have sample designs and images on hand to help you decide on your own personal design, letting you make the most of the materials provided.
Under Charlotte's guidance, you'll go through the making process step by step, where you’ll cut, shape, and hammer your silver and then form and solder into a ring. If you’d like any texturing on your finished piece you can practice texturing techniques in copper first.
This is a wonderful opportunity to make your own memorable piece of jewellery as a gift or something special to keep. You'll also pick up a host of handy skills that you can use to continue this satisfying hobby in the future.
