What you'll do
Let your kids unleash their inner sewing bee at this beginners' sewing class in Edinburgh, which will teach them how to use a sewing machine and make their own cushion cover.
Ideal for children aged 8+, this sewing workshop is a brilliant starting point for kids who are keen to learn to sew.
During this fun Edinburgh craft class, kids will learn how to thread a sewing machine, confidently steer and control the speed of the machine and then make a cushion cover with their new skills.
Give your kids a chance to gain a new skill that they will be able to use and develop throughout their lives with this fun and practical creative workshop.
By the end of their class, kids will have gained knowledge and confidence in safely using a sewing machine and they'll have their own handmade cushion cover to take home and use.

The Edinburgh Sewcial Club first opened its doors in 2014 teaching dressmaking, sewing and other textiles crafts to people of all ages, levels of ability and experience in evening and weekend classes.
Our fun, social classes are a great way to try something new and learn a practical craft and skill!
Now, as well as dressmaking and sewing there are also a number of other textile crafts taught, beading, embroidery, upcycling & mending even fleece mermaid tail blankets! Our 'sewcial club' is a friendly environment to get creative!
