Screen Printing Class for Kids

Inspire your little one to design and print a t-shirt in a day.

7 to 12 years     5.5 hours Class size 1 to 2     label £65

Help your little one stand out from the crowd with this fun screen printing workshop in Bristol.

Hosted in a welcoming screen printing studio on Bristol’s Harbourside, this hands-on class will teach your kids to design and print their very own t-shirt from scratch.

Friendly teacher Steph will start with an introduction to the tools and materials of screen printing, helping your children explore different techniques and gain practical experience in the process as they create stencils and print together.

Steph will then introduce your kids to artists and designers that may help influence their t-shirt design, which they will finalise and plan before lunch.

Your child will then learn how to mix colours and prepare their own screen and print area, all set up and ready to print. Depending on time, they will get to print between one and three colours, finishing the day with a unique t-shirt they can proudly wear!

Please note:
Steph is a fully qualified primary school teacher and is also DBS registered. Children are supervised at all times, and Steph is happy for you to leave your child while the workshop is taking place.

At LucaLoves, I create surface pattern designs that are rooted in my love of mid-century design. I sketch ideas and then develops the best concepts into repeat patterns. The patterns are then printed onto sustainable / eco-friendly materials to which I then create products for homeware and gifts.

I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher, so alongside my knowledge of printing, colour and pattern I also bring my experience of working with and planning sessions for children. I have a genuine passion for opening up the creative world to all children with the hope that this will support them to realise their true potential.
