What you'll do
Make a beautiful 30cm diameter coffee table dish using mosaic tiles. You will be taught how to cut the tiles to shape them so that your design flows across/around the dish. You will have the choice of thousands of tiles, in lots of colours including sparkly ones too.
Come with an idea, whether it is using a concentric pattern following the shape of the dish or a pattern that cuts across it, and some idea of your colour scheme. I will help you create your design.
You will take the dish away with you, but it will need to be grouted at least 24 hours after the workshop. If you live close enough, you can return, free of charge, to grout it with me.

I have been playing with glass for 9 years, starting with leaded glass and moving onto fused glass and lampwork. I love teaching others to create the designs they may have in glass. Some have no idea what they'd like to make, others have done extensive research, all are welcome. The creativity comes from within, the kiln does the work to make a very personal piece of artwork.
