Make a colourful mosaic stepping stone for your garden.

What you'll do
Make a 20cm stepping stone for your garden using mosaic tiles.
You will be taught how to cut the mosaic tiles to shape them to fit your design. The simpler the design, the better. You will also be shown how to clean up the surface when you turn the stone out.
After you have created your design in a 20cm dish, we will fill it with a special mortar mix. Take the stone away with you and put it somewhere dry and level for one week before turning it out. Clean up the surface before placing it in grass, gravel, or soil.
You will have the choice of thousands of tiles in lots of colours, including sparkly ones.

All materials are provided, along with instructions on cutting mosaic tiles and how to clean up the surface once the stone has set.

I have been playing with glass for 9 years, starting with leaded glass and moving onto fused glass and lampwork. I love teaching others to create the designs they may have in glass. Some have no idea what they'd like to make, others have done extensive research, all are welcome. The creativity comes from within, the kiln does the work to make a very personal piece of artwork.
