What was the teacher like?
She was absolutely lovely, she was very friendly and easy to talk with all the while giving us a really good teaching experience where we asked lots of questions and she answered each with lots of knowledge and patience.
How was the venue (if applicable)?
The workshop felt very cozy, small and filled to the brim with bits and pieces of her work.
If materials were provided, did you like them?
Yes! All the materials that we needed to make necklaces and earings were provided as well as the clay, tools, tectures and cutters plus molds that she had made.
Was the experience good value for money?
Yes, this was a gift for a 60th birthday and something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time, it was a wonderful experience
What did you do / learn?
We made delecate bendant charms for necklaces and had free range to create or own design and other bits and pieces with the left over clay afterward so we each made a set of earrings too. We learnt about silver clay, how to prepare it, how to correctly use cutters/templates with textures, how to dry it to allow for preparation, how to fire it, and how to clean it up after

Thoroughly enjoyed the silver smithing course - Lori was an excellent teacher, I learnt how to put together a ring and bangle which included soldering, filing, cutting out and polishing. She has a fully fitted out workshop and the venue was excellent. I would fully recommend this course and Lori to any beginner.

My Dad and I attended a silver smithing workshop and had a fantastic morning! We learned new skills and the instructed was very helpful and knowledgeable. She was patient and guided us through every step of the process. I loved the workshop and found the whole experience really enjoyable.

Excellent course! Attended with my mum and sister (late Christmas present) and we all left with a silver clay necklace and a couple of other pieces. Really fun and Lori was a great and engaging teacher. I would recommend this to everyone!

The class was well worth the money to have not only a experience teacher but also have one to one session.

I booked this class for myself and my 13 year old daughter to do together during half term. We had no previous experience so we’re a little apprehensive to start. Lori immediately put us at ease guiding us through the processes step by step. All tools, equipment and coffee were provided. We never felt rushed and we are really pleased with our jewellery that we got to take home. Will definitely be recommending to others. Thank you for a lovely day.

Excellent Value for money. I bought it as a birthday gift for my daughter. We had a great experience. The teacher was so welcoming and experienced in Silver Jewellery. She taught us many skills. We were both beginners but returned home with a bracelet and Ring. Would throughly recommend this class.
