Let your talented teacher and expert jeweller guide you on how to manipulate clay, cut shapes, add texture, perfect your very own locket pendant. You will be guided step-by-step on how to file and sand the clay to get the best finish on your piece, as well as how to put it together and fire it.Finally, after the fun of crafting and creating, you will fire your locket and learn about burnishing and finishing to make it your own. If time allows on the day, your teacher may also show you how to add oxidation to your piece to add a little colour and bring out the detailsBy the end of this fun jewellery making workshop, you will have finished your very own locket style pendant (please note, the locket does not open, however, it has a little window on the front so you can put a decoration inside that can be seen on the front of the pendant).
