Jewellery Making Workshop: Silver Clay

Discover silver clay jewellery making with this introductory workshop!During this laid-back and fun half-day jewellery making class, you will learn everything you need to know about making stunning DIY jewellery pieces using clay!This workshop will kick start with a demonstration on how to handle the clay, including how to store it and reconstitute it if necessary. You will then get hands-on and learn how to roll out the clay as well as how to cut and prepare it so that your finished piece is of the highest quality possible.Never tried your hand at DIY jewellery making before? Your friendly and encouraging teacher will guide you from start to finish with plenty of support. However, you'll soon feel confident enough to craft away on your own unique designs. You'll be surprised at what you can make and create! Once your piece is finished, you and your teacher will fire before you are shown how to bring up the shine on your piece, and if you want to, add some antiquing colour for that cute vintage look. By the end of this relaxing and fun jewellery making class, have at least two pieces of wearable jewellery hand made by you in solid silver. A sterling silver chain and a pair of sterling silver ear wires are included meaning that you can walk out of the workshop wearing your very own bespoke designs!Adorned in your handmade jewellery, you'll not only look great but you'll a great sense of achievement having discovered a new and addictive DIY craft to enjoy! Please note: This course currently only available on a one-to-one or one household/bubble basis. All materials, including the chain are provided on the day, and as we will fire it during the process, you will go home with a beautiful piece of solid silver jewellery hand made by you.
