5.0 (11)I began my journey into Silver Metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best.
I hold a Higher Diploma in Silver Metal Clay and am a senior metal clay instructor and glass teacher. I have been teaching for over ten years running classes from my studio in Market Bosworth and many jewellery schools and galleries all around the Midlands area. I am a member of The Guild of Jewellers and am on the education committee of the alliance of metal clay. I also hold a Gold student choice award. One of my proudest moments was visiting Tokyo and seeing one of my pieces displayed in the Silver Accessories Exhibition.

Lovely venue for a small group. Well organised and everything we needed was readily available. Louise explained the process very calmly and with knowledge. We learned a new skill and are very pleased with the very wearable jewellery that we created. Would recommend.

The class was very interesting and great fun when you then try yourself. The teacher is really helpful and thoughtful. If you need a hand with anything she’s there but if you’re happy with what you’re doing she’s fine to let you carry on. I would recommend it to anyone interested!
