Settle in at your own jeweller's bench, where all the tools and silver clay you'll need are waiting. Your tutor Louise will start by introducing the materials and helping you plan the design for your beautiful, unique bangle.
Design and Shape Your Charms
Now for the magic of silver clay! We have a wonderful collection of moulds and shapes for you to play with as you design your own unique charms. This is your chance to get really creative and make your charms completely personal to you. You’ll learn to roll, shape, and pattern your clay, turning your creative ideas into beautiful forms with gentle, step-by-step guidance, which includes sanding and drilling your pieces in readiness for firing
Transform Your Clay Charms Into Silver Through Firing
Prepare to be amazed by a magical part of the process. You'll witness your clay charms being fired, a fascinating transformation where the clay binding compound disappears to reveal solid, pure silver charms right before your eyes.
Polish Your Bangle Charms to a Lovely Shine
Give your new bangle and solid silver charms a final polish to make them gleam. You'll assemble your finished bangle and leave the workshop wearing a stunning, one-of-a-kind silver bangle that you proudly made yourself.

I design, make and sell my own unique handmade silver jewellery and also teach how to make silver jewellery.I began my journey into silver metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Standard Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best. I have worked hard to develop my skills and I strive to work to the highest standard.I have over twelve years experience and I:
- am a senior metal clay instructor
- came third in an international competition held in Tokyo in 2024
- had one of my jewellery pieces displayed in an exhibition in Tokyo in 2023
- hold a higher diploma in silver clay
