Shape Your Silver Clay
Experience the fun of working with this versatile clay. In a relaxed, supportive environment that's perfect for beginners and experienced jewellers, you’ll learn to roll, shape, and pattern your clay, turning your creative ideas into beautiful forms with gentle, step-by-step guidance. As always, Louise will support you if you need any help.
Fiery Transformation
Prepare to be amazed by a magical part of the process. You'll witness your clay being fired, a fascinating transformation where the clay disappears to reveal solid, pure silver pieces right before your eyes.
Polishing and Finishing
Give your new treasures a final, professional polish to make them gleam. You'll leave the workshop brimming with pride, with all of your stunning pieces of solid silver jewellery, ready to wear home or use as a gift.
Voila! Finished
Your work results in beautiful finished pieces to be admired. You can wear them straight away or take them home to treasure or maybe use as a gift for a loved one! You have added to your jewellery collection and improved your jewellery knowledge and skill for a modest fee.

What you'll get
Tuition, refreshments and materials include 5 grams of clay (enough to make at least two pieces of jewellery depending on size).You take away 2 to 3 pieces of jewellery in a half day course and 3 to 4 pieces in a full day course (advertised separately) depending on size of pieces. Example pieces are pendants, earrings, necklaces and charms.

I design, make and sell my own unique handmade silver jewellery and also teach how to make silver jewellery.I began my journey into silver metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Standard Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best. I have worked hard to develop my skills and I strive to work to the highest standard.I have over twelve years experience and I:
- am a senior metal clay instructor
- came third in an international competition held in Tokyo in 2024
- had one of my jewellery pieces displayed in an exhibition in Tokyo in 2023
- hold a higher diploma in silver clay
- teach diploma levels 1 & 2
