The perfect ring starts with the perfect fit. We’ll begin by guiding you through how to accurately size your finger. Once you have your size, you can get creative, choosing a texture for your ring band and maybe a lovely gem for the setting.
Craft Your Ring Band
Get hands-on with the amazing, eco-friendly silver clay. With friendly step-by-step instructions, you’ll learn how to shape the band, apply your chosen pattern, and create a setting for your stone if you wish, all with Louise's expert help.
The Magic of Firing
Prepare to be amazed by the most transformative part of the process. You’ll watch as your clay ring is fired, a magical moment where it turns from a soft material into a solid, hallmark-quality silver ring right before your eyes.
Polish and Wear It Home
Give your new ring a final, professional polish to make the silver gleam and the gemstone sparkle. You’ll leave the workshop with a stunning, perfectly-sized ring that you designed and made yourself, ready to wear home with pride.

I design, make and sell my own unique handmade silver jewellery and also teach how to make silver jewellery.I began my journey into silver metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Standard Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best. I have worked hard to develop my skills and I strive to work to the highest standard.I have over twelve years experience and I:
- am a senior metal clay instructor
- came third in an international competition held in Tokyo in 2024
- had one of my jewellery pieces displayed in an exhibition in Tokyo in 2023
- hold a higher diploma in silver clay
- teach diploma levels 1 & 2
