This was the first time I’d had a go at throwing a pot on a wheel, and Sharon guided me so well through the whole process that I had a respectable pot to show at the end of the session. She’s a great, and very patient teacher and was able to correct me whenever I was going wrong. I came away with an understanding of just how skilled the process is, and with a promise to myself that I’ll enrol for more classes.
Thank you Sharon, I really enjoyed myself today!

A lot of fun. Our teacher, Sharon, was very nice, had lots of patience and helped us just enough for us to finish up with a really nice pot. I would definitely go again and I would recommend the experience to friends!

The class was a birthday present from my daughter. Sharon was a teacher with a lot of patience and explained everything clearly. The venue and materials were good. Not easy to get to without a car, so we got a taxi. Loved the whole experience, and will do it again.

We had a lovely time celebrating our friends 30th. Teacher was great, we had a right laugh. Would have liked more information about what we were making and how it’s going to turn out before the class. I think a little more time would have been nice so it felt like you could really get to grips with the techniques. But all in all a lovely experience and will definitely be trying pottery classes again in the future!

We had a lovely time with Juliet this morning. Such a fantastically kind and patient teacher. The venue was great and we had a great fun time. I have never used a wheel before and Juliet was very encouraging. I don't think I will e going on the great pottery throw down any time.e soon but may well do another class to see if I can do a pot that will.hold water. Had a fun time and will definitely do again.

Well from the word go, we got on with our teacher, we laughed and laughed. I think I broke her, as I was probably the worst student she'd ever had (my words, not hers) but we had the best time, the hour flew by, thoroughly enjoyed making pots and laughing, best way to spend an hour doing something completely different and with a lovely stranger, who by the end, I'd add to my Christmas card list. Love to her from Julie & Darren (23rd Sept, 11 oclock). We will defo do it again. Worth every penny, for every minute. X

Had a private beginners throwing session with John and it was an absolute delight! The location is easy to find and very peaceful. He has over 30 years experience and was very thorough when explaining all the techniques used in pottery. I created a lovely little vase which I can’t wait to collect soon!

Bought this for my husband and he has loved it but felt that it was quite rushed and would have liked a bit more guidance and explanation as he was going along. It was expensive for the short amount of time and maybe either extended the time or cutting the cost would be better

We had a great time in this pottery class. Juliet was very friendly, chatty and helpful. We both made a pot with her help while she still encouraged us to do every single step ourselves.
Overall it was an amazing experience, it’s a very cozy venue and a great date idea for any couples or anyone wanting to experience wheel-pottery while being taught by a professional!

Lemon Studio was easy to find and there was ample parking available for us. Our teacher - John - was great and had the patience of a saint in explaining what was required to someone who had never tried throwing before. He was excellent at putting us at ease and went through each stage with us before we attempted it ourselves. We learnt that throwing is an art and takes patience and practice but we had fun on our first attempt.

We would 100% recommend Lemon Studio if you are looking for something different and learning a new skill.

Juliette clear and friendly teacher who arranges for your finished pot to be glazed and fired which you can collect at a later stage. Fun tactile activity and made me want to follow up with a longer course.

Wow what a great experience!
I bought a private wheel throwing class as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and honestly we both loved it. Our teacher was really helpful and guided us step by step on how to make a bowl, which, to our surprise, we managed to make! We then get to pick them up in 2 weeks, so also a lovely memory from the day. The venue was lovely, very peaceful and cosy. I highly recommend the class, an overall wonderful experience.

This class is a fantastic first step in to wheel throwing. The studio is located on a beautiful farm just down the road from Dunham Massey, so an ideal day would be to grab some breakfast, do this class then go and see the deer afterwards. The studio is cute and cosy and the fact the class is only for two people makes it feel extra special. Sharon, the teacher was funny, kind and informative, guiding us every step of the way. I would recommend this class to anyone considering trying wheel throwing for the first time as it gives you an idea of what it's like without committing hours or lots of money. My partner and I absolutely loved it and can't wait to get our finished pieces once they are fired.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time at this pottery class yesterday. It was great fun and lovely to do something different. The teacher was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We expected it to just be a bit of fun and didn't have very high expectations of our end products but as the teacher was so supportive we were surprisingly impressed with our products so thank you very much!
The class was in a wonderful setting, which was a really enjoyable and calming place to be in, which we followed with a lovely walk around Dunham Massey.
