What you'll do
For a pottery class with a difference, this workshop in Cheshire is sure to tick all the boxes. Hosted on a working farm by an experienced potter, you'll learn all the skills you need to make a gorgeous table decoration that will look incredible in any home.Inspired by the changing season and weekends away, we will create a beautiful candlelit centrepiece for your table. You will be taught how to use the slab building method to form the basis for your pot and then add details to the surface decoration to make elements of your creation stand out. You will then add colour to your pot, enhancing the surface further.Please bring a packed lunch.Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, you'll find tailored tuition that'll make crafting your vase relaxing and enjoyable. You'll leave with all the new skills you've learned, eagerly anticipating your finished centrepiece coming back from its firing.Following the course, your work will be bisque fired and then clear glazed before a final firing. It will be ready to collect within 2 weeks.
