Abstract Oil Painting Course

Take your painting skills to the next level with our oils. Designed for beginners to intermediates or for those that have completed the beginners 5-week 5 landscapes course. This 5-week course will teach you how to paint a stunning abstract piece and 1 landscape piece. Paint and canvas are provided, so all you need to do is show up and let your creativity flow. Spend 3 weeks exploring abstract techniques before delving into more in-depth landscape painting for the final 2 weeks. This course is both relaxing and therapeutic, the perfect way to unwind and unleash your inner artist.

The course starts on 18th April and is held every Thursday evening at 7pm till 9.30pm. We conclude the course on the 16th May.

Your art tutor, Sara, runs a variety of courses and workshops throughout the year and is experienced in a variety of mediums and in teaching. She regularly exhibits her own work and has sold many pieces over the last few years. She also teaches children after school and during holiday breaks.

Our Cabin Studio is a lovely environment where we have space for 6 people. We find holding small classes a much better way to teach where everyone gets the attention and tuition that they need. It also lends itself to a lovely homely and friendly atmosphere where you can feel the stress of life just slip away!

Little knowledge could be an advantage but not required. We structure our courses at beginner level so if you haven't painted abstract before, we are confident that you will feel at home even if you haven't painted since school days.
  Attendees will get full tuition and support, course notes every week as we look at different elements of abstract painting. All materials and 2amazing pieces of art on stretched canvas. All refreshments and materials are included.
  Please bring an apron with you.
