What you'll do
Do you love nothing more than relaxing by the seaside? Join us for this unique glass fused class in Wimborne and learn how to craft seaside-inspired glass art.
Held at your teacher Linda's home studio in Cranborne or Walford Mill Crafts, this beginner-friendly workshop will introduce you to the tools and materials required to create your pieces, before allowing you to get creative.
You will make two to three designs, starting the workshop by making a small suncatcher and learning about the glass fusing process. The final piece will be a picture or seascape, using copper foil and cut glass shapes and beads, which means no cutting is required.
Choose from beach huts, seascapes or another one of Linda's many examples, or create your own design. Your finished glass art will be ready to collect 10 days after the session or they can be posted to you for an additional cost of £8.
Knowledge required
No experience is necessary. Suitable for beginners and those who have worked with glass before.

Linda has been a glass artist for over 20 years, based at her workshop near Cranborne, Dorset.
Linda explores the traditional techniques of stained glass, copper foil ‘tiffany’, mosaics and glass fusing. Captivated by the light, texture and colour combinations of glass, she has developed a range of vibrant contemporary designs.
These include, framed tiffany pictures and sun catchers, vibrant fused glass jewellery, and fused glass hangings, coasters and bowls.
Her work is inspired by the natural forms and colours.
