Fused Glass Tea Lights Workshop

Craft fused glass tea lights at this hands-on class in Salisbury

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 8     label £58

Looking for fun things to do in Salisbury? Join Linda at her studio in Fisherton Mill and learn how to transform kiln-formed glass into your own unique fused glass tea lights using simple techniques.

At the beginning of the workshop, we'll make a small sun catcher to introduce you to the materials we'll be using. Then, following a coffee break, you'll design your tealight using pre-cut bases, glass shapes, glass beads and other accessories.

No glass cutting is required, making this DIY workshop perfect for beginners. Simply focus on getting familiar with all the materials and exploring your creativity in a supportive space. Linda has lots of examples available to use or you're welcome to create your own designs.

This fused glass workshop could be the first step towards a new hobby, discovering your own creative talent or just having some fun with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

At the end of the class, return home with the confidence and skills to continue your new glass fusing hobby! Your designs will be ready to collect 10 days after the session or they can be posted to you for an additional cost of £8.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

Linda has been a glass artist for over 20 years, based at her workshop near Cranborne, Dorset.

Linda explores the traditional techniques of stained glass, copper foil ‘tiffany’, mosaics and glass fusing. Captivated by the light, texture and colour combinations of glass, she has developed a range of vibrant contemporary designs.

These include, framed tiffany pictures and sun catchers, vibrant fused glass jewellery, and fused glass hangings, coasters and bowls.
