The atmosphere was fun, the instructor was lovely, and we both left with paintings we'll be hanging on the wall! I had booked the workshop as a gift for my friend and she loved it; definitely recommend it as a gift idea.

It's clear Sally knows what she is doing. She led the class easily in a laid back manner. Sally explained different techniques and catered to our individual levels. She had prosecco to share and other non alcoholic options too, pizza arrived towards the end of the night which was such a nice touch. In all I couldn't recommend this class high enough if you are looking for a fun art class. Thank you Sally, I will definitely be returning

The pictures turned out amazing, we had great conversations with Sally and the other participants and overall, the atmosphere was just perfect. We loved it so much! If you’re thinking about going to an art evening, do it!! You will love every minute of it.

• 5/5 from Kirsty, attended Aug 2024: I attended Arty Evenings with a friend, and we both had a really brilliant time. Sally is an absolute star and made us feel so welcome. Her studio is such a comfortable environment to spend an evening in; it really felt like a bit of an escape and reset! There is also onsite parking, which is a real bonus. All of the supplies were provided and we were encouraged to try lots of different types of materials, with lots of advice, support and inspiration given if we were struggling for ideas or with the techniques. I am a beginner and felt very much at ease. We were even offered drinks and pizza, which was a lovely surprise! I would totally recommend Arty Evenings at Studio 48. For me, the experience would have been enough, but I also came away with four different pieces of art which was wonderful! I've already booked another Arty Evening class later in the month and can't wait.

The teacher was very lovely, encouraging and very open to us doing our own interpretation of the prompt. The venue was really nice, a bright creative space. There were a variety of provided materials. As to be expected from an art workshop space some markers and brushes were clearly well used but there were plenty of brushes to pick from so they were easy to switch out, and there were many markers of the same colour so if one was used you could always find another. We painted in a pop art style. The class was very good value for money considering the materials provided. I liked the very chill atmosphere, also the music was quality. The fact there was no real pressure to conform to a specific idea.

Sally was a great teacher offering advice when needed but allowing participants to have their freedom in what they want to do. I would recommend to anyone no matter the abilities!

My art skills are developing with Sally’s help, lots of materials to choose from, and I can go at my own pace! Studio 48 adult classes have been informative, uplifting, encouraging and fun. Sally Ann has a relaxed teaching style which I love, The studio is a bright, inviting, creative space. Sally’s art classes have inspired me to try new techniques and be more adventurous. All levels of ability accommodated for. I’m really looking forward to learning new skills and techniques each week. The facilities are great. Endless teas, coffees, or stronger beverages and fabulous pizza provided! Great Sat night socialising! Brilliant value for money! I highly recommend! ️️️️️
