  • 5/5 from Christina Malcolm, attended May 2026: Another great class in Jen’s studio combining the perfect mix of personal creative decisions + Jen’s direction to keep things on track. I learnt new techniques making my dress, and also built confidence with the patterns and sewing machine. Bring on the next one
  • 5/5 from Christina Malcolm, attended Apr 2026: Amazing class - I learnt to make some cool culottes/ trousers from scratch, and picked my own fabric and sizes. Jen, the teacher, is so good at coaching and overseeing while helping build your own confidence and course correcting when needed. She has ALL the resources you could possible need and creates a chilled (therapeutic?) atmosphere to be creative and relaxed. Everyone works at their own pace and does their own garment, but Jen comes around to support. I’ll be going back to make more things - it’s a great way of learning, making and keeping something spesh.
  • 5/5 from Lucy Harding, attended Apr 2026: Such a fun class - Jen is a great teacher and helps build confidence sewing so quickly!

  • 5/5 from Jane-Ann Purdy, attended Jun 2025: I really enjoyed this class. The tuition was given individually according to the project you wanted to complete. The class size was small which meant the teacher was able to help whenever assistance was required. The facilities were first rate and there was plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommended.
  • 5/5 from Kat Oatey, attended Mar 2025: Really enjoyed this class. Jen gives you alot of creative freedom to pick a project you’ll enjoy and supports each student at their skill level and pace. She’s really friendly and encouraging and I couldn’t wait to go back to class each week. I’ve made a fantastic garment and had loads of compliments! Would definitely be keen to try another one of her classes in the future.
  • 5/5 from Karla Butler, attended Oct 2024: Jenifer is an excellent and knowledgeable teacher. This is my second four-week session with her, and she conducts the course in a relaxed yet professional manner. Even if you are an experienced sewer, you will still learn a lot. You definitely get your money's worth from this course :)
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Oct 2024: Excellent experience. Jen is a great teacher - she gives very clear instructions and hands-on assistance when needed. I also thought she did a great job of directing four quite different projects in parallel so that the four of us students were able to achieve what we wanted to within the class. I'm looking forward to taking another course with Jen to refine my skills.
  • 5/5 from Veronica Royce, attended Nov 2023: Jen has been a great teacher and the class has been so much fun. Will definitely book again!
