Get ready to create your own elegant Afternoon Tea Candle Collection in this Korean-style candle making workshop in Edinburgh, inspired by minimalist Korean candle art and the cosy charm of café culture. Over two hours in a small, friendly group, you'll turn premium soy wax, crystal-clear gel wax and delicate botanicals into three realistic dessert-inspired candles to take home – perfect for a relaxing weekend out, a creative date or a beautifully handmade gift.
You'll start by choosing your signature candle:
  • Latte cup candle – a creamy soy wax candle poured into an elegant glass teacup and finished with preserved flowers and botanicals
  • Gel cocktail candle – a crystal-clear gel candle inspired by elegant café drinks, decorated with dried citrus, cinnamon and delicate florals
Everyone will also handcraft two macaron dessert candles, sculpted from whipped wax and finished with miniature dessert details, to complete your Afternoon Tea Collection.
Along the way, you'll pick up a real range of skills – from colour blending and fragrance mixing to dessert candle sculpting, floral decorating and professional finishing techniques – all guided by a friendly teacher who'll help you feel confident from your very first pour. No previous experience is needed, and everything you need is provided, from premium soy and gel wax to fragrance oils, glass vessels, macaron moulds, preserved botanicals and all the tools for the day.

My background in marketing also allows me to bring a unique perspective to every workshop. I don't simply teach techniques—I carefully design each experience, from the fragrances and colours to the styling and presentation, so that every participant leaves not only with a beautiful handmade creation, but also with memories they'll treasure.
