I feel that through teaching people can learn to make higher quality clothing for themselves and also have a greater understanding of the work behind clothing manufacture. I feel learning to sew and pattern cut can be a way to reclaim your body from standardized clothing which actually doesn't work for most people.I offer monthly hand mending classes to show the basis of darning and patching item Within my sewing classes I try to keep elements of design or elevation into the work. I also make patterns for your custom based on your measurments. I also often source sustainable materials which can be offered as part of the class if you like.
