Choose a stone you love and create a unique piece at this labradorite jewellery class in Edinburgh.

3 hours

Class size 1 to 8 (public classes), 6 to 10
£46 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

In this relaxed and creative workshop, you’ll make your own labradorite jewellery using weaving techniques.
Labradorite is a unique natural gemstone. Depending on the angle of the light, it can reveal flashes of deep blue, vibrant green, or even a mysterious purple glow. This phenomenon is known as "labradorescence, " as if a piece of the aurora is hidden within the stone. Since each stone has its own patterns and reflections, it’s almost impossible to find two identical pieces, making it perfect for creating truly one-of-a-kind jewellery.
Choose your stone: We carefully select a range of high-quality labradorite stones, each with its own distinct glow. You can choose the one that speaks to you the most.
Select your thread colour: We provide high-quality waxed cords with a smooth texture, available in a variety of colours. You can match the cord to complement and enhance your chosen stone.
Learn the craft: Learn how to secure a raw stone using weaving techniques and turn it into a pendant, then pair it with a handmade woven chain. We’ll guide you step by step throughout the process.
Take home your creation: With a full three hours, you’ll watch a raw stone transform into a finished pendant or accessory in your own hands. Whether you wear it yourself or give it to someone special, it carries a meaningful, handmade touch.
