The price included a crochet needle and 2 balls of wool which I thought made the class very good value. We will certainly be booking another class to develop our skills.

The yarn and crotchet needle and bag were v appropriate and nice quality. I felt it was good value for money. I'm over 60 and I've always wanted to learn to crotchet and this was such an easy way to get a beginners feel for it. I'd fully recommend it to any ages

  • 4/5 from Karen McDonald, attended Oct 2023: Friendly lady (Sharon) I was the only person attending so it was 1 to 1
  • 5/5 from Janet Coverdale, attended Aug 2023: Quentin was great, very friendly and very patient with us. Thank you Quentin. Materials were provided with instructions. Just need to practise now!
  • 5/5 from Kim Machin, attended Jul 2023: Teacher was lovely, very patient only moving on when we were ready. Box of wool and crochet hook with instructions provided, good quality wool. Started with simple chain stitch, teacher was patient whilst we undid our chains and tried again as the first try was a bit messy! Books were pulled off the shelves to show us different stitches and items we could make. We managed to do the double crochet stitch as well as the chain so were really chuffed that we had learned something to build on and could actually make something with the knowledge already. Very pleased with the 1 to 2 private class, suited us better than a larger class. Would definitely recommend to start off a hobby.
  • 5/5 from Pauline Williams, attended Jul 2023: The teacher was very pleasant and kind and took time to support us. The venue was OK. It was quiet at first but then customers came into the area and spoke to us. We were allowed to chose our wool with advice from the teacher. The wool provided was lovely and soft. The crochet hook was a good size for a novice. The experience was good value for money. We learnt two basic crochet stitched. I liked ending the session with two samples and patterns to continue learning.
  • 5/5 from Joyce Hughes, attended Feb 2023: Quentin was a great teacher and the time flew by. The materials provided were good quality. I am a complete beginner and will take a while to get the tension right, but found it easy to learn the 3 different stitches. The workshop has inspired me to keep practising and I can see an improvement already (next day). I would recommend this class to anyone who would like to learn as you can ask questions on the aspects that you found tricky following beginners online tutorials. It was also very good value for money.
