Your teacher
I am the published author of a memoir titled The Story Game, who has now pivoted to coaching and runs a variety of classes to help other artists/makers unlock their creativity. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland.My coaching practice is built off my own life experiences breaking into the creative industries. Before I became a writer, I worked an office job I didn't love while secretly dreaming of becoming a "real artist." But as I had no formal training and no clear path, I found my own. Over eight years, I researched, developed personal rituals for inspiration and flow, and built a network with more experienced artists — all while steadily working on my own project.Eventually, those practices brought my dream to life: I wrote the book I'd imagined since my twenties and took it on tour. Now, in my thirties, I teach classes online and in person for organizations including Writing Workshops USA, the Geneva Writers Group, the National Library Board of Singapore, and the Scottish BPOC Network here in the UK. I coach to share what I learned and because I hope to make the path towards creativity smoother for someone else.
