Botanical Silver Clay Jewellery Workshop

One-day beginner-friendly botanical-themed silver clay jewellery workshop

7 hours Class size 1 to 8 guests       £155 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Join this nature-inspired silver jewellery workshop with Jewellery School Scotland and spend a full day exploring the beautiful possibilities of working with silver clay.
In this hands-on class, you will discover the magic of silver clay – an eco-friendly material made from 100 per cent recycled silver that moulds like clay and fires into solid, hallmark-quality silver. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some crafting experience, you will find this workshop the perfect place to learn the alchemy of turning organic textures into wearable art.
Guided step-by-step by expert tutor Anna Campbell, you will work on three distinct projects designed to build your skills:
  • Create unique pieces by rolling botanicals into clay to capture textures
  • Make your own custom silicone moulds from items like acorns and shells
  • Hand-make botanical embellishments and assemble your jewellery
  • Master the complete process from shaping and drying to firing and polishing
Do not worry if you are new to jewellery making; the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and supportive. We provide a wide selection of grasses and leaves, but you are also welcome to bring your own small, fresh botanicals (such as sage leaves or seed pods) if you wish to make your pieces truly personal.
You will leave this inspiring session with a strong foundation in silver clay techniques and three stunning pieces of handmade jewellery – such as earrings, charms, or pendants – that you can wear with pride or gift to someone special.
Please note: chains are not included in the workshop price but are usually available for purchase on the day. There will be a one-hour lunch break during the session.
What you'll get
  • You’ll leave with at least three finished pieces (earrings, charms, pendants) ready to wear, plus the skills to continue making your own botanical silver clay jewellery at home.
  • A set of notes will be sent electronically after your workshop to remind you of what you learned.
  • Complimentary refreshments, including locally sourced Shibui Teas and Mr Eion coffee.
