- Create a range of unique, botanical-themed monoprints using a flexible Gelli Press pad.
- Experiment with a variety of professional techniques including layering, stencilling, and stamping.
- Use acrylic paints to create prints in whichever colours you choose.
- Receive dedicated 1:1 support and guidance to help you master direct transfers and textures.
- Use natural elements by using provided materials or your own fresh and dried plant samples.
- Work in a relaxed, supportive environment.

I have always been a dedicated artist and maker, so learning how to share my skills and inspire others through teaching was a natural step for me. With a BA in Graphic Design, an MA in Fine Art, and a PGCE in the Lifelong Learning sector, alongside 15 years’ experience teaching all ages and abilities across three countries, I am well equipped to deliver all sorts of engaging and exciting craft classes to every audience. I have taught creative craft to children aged 4-19 with autism at a special school and taught adults in community settings, including for Melton Borough Council and Leicester City Council. I’ve taught English as a foreign language (using craft activities to support learning) to babies aged 1-3 in Vietnam (they called these classes ‘Baby Einstein’!). I’ve delivered drop-in beading workshops at festivals and taught printmaking to a group of PhD students at the University of Leicester. I’ve also provided children and teenage birthday parties in polymer clay charm making. I’ve taught catch-up art & design classes to college students after the pandemic. I’ve even taught English to Chinese children online! I just really, really love teaching! I’ve been working in polymer clay for nearly 20 years. I was inspired by my mum who used to make me clay meals for my Sylvanian Families when I was little. By the time I got to university, I realized I couldn’t buy the kind of jewellery I wanted to wear, so I started making my own. Fast forward 5 years and I was just finishing my master's course. A friend who had recently graduated from fashion design asked me if I would like to set up a pop-up shop with her, selling our handmade goods. We did it for 6 months, and it was a success. My handmade jewellery was very popular. After that, I got a start-up grant from De Montfort University to create my own brand for my handmade jewellery – Feelmorelove Boutique. I’ve been running my shop on Etsy ever since. However, my skills range from handmade jewellery to print, paper crafts, handmade books, and even sculpture, painting… I can help you to learn many different skills. I often teach at Charnwood Arts in Loughborough. I am also the founder of Insecta Collective CIC. We run arts and nature activities across Leicester City, including workshops for children and international open call exhibitions. Follow us online for more!
