Welcome
We start with a welcome drink, introductions and an opportunity to ask any questions.
Throwing Demo
We will demonstrate each step of throwing a piece - centering, opening and pulling the clay up to form a cylinder. We invite questions throughout - there's a lot to take in, so the more questions the better!
Your Turn
Each participant will have their own wheel and use prepared clay to throw their pieces. We will guide you as you go and help whenever needed to throw a pot or two. Each throwing station is equipped with everything you need, including tools, towels, a throwing guide and a mirror for perspective.
Finishing
We will trim and finish your pots after they've dryed. We'll glaze your pieces with clear or white glaze and glaze-fire them.
Ready
The whole process takes 4 - 6 weeks.
When your pots have been through all the finishing and firing, we'll contact you and arrange a time for you to collect your pieces.

What to bring
We provide everything you'll need. We recommend wearing comfortable, old clothing (Warm layers in cooler months are best). Clay can get messy! Short nails are advised.
