The atmosphere was lovely and we got a very generous amount of time, attention and clay for the price! So much fun and such a unique day out, really great way to learn and enjoy a new skill in a calm and friendly atmosphere— this gifted experience was for my birthday! Was a really good idea it’s lovely to have the memories of the experience as well as being able to take home lots of our creations! :) + more

Bought as a birthday gift but also something precious had been broken. Practised on a broken bowl and then put back together, with zazz; our broken heirloom. Fabulous hosts and a fun couple of hours spent. Highly recommend.

It was just the two of us, which made it feel extra special, super relaxed and creative, and we loved getting stuck into making our own designs. Catherine was just amazing ️ — super patient, really encouraging, and great at helping bring our ideas to life! She made the whole process feel so easy, it was so much fun! Such a fabulous, creative experience and something really different - a birthday I will never forget. Totally worth the money and definitely would highly recommend it! + more

We made beautiful autumnal flower crowns with the materials Gem provided, and ate cake, which was a perfect way to start the day. (We wore the crowns all day.) We ended with a walk through town to the beach and observed the sea -- and also spent some time shouting with abandon to the sea. It was a brilliant experience from top to bottom and I highly recommend. She also took some great photos of us! + more

Andri is a skilled teacher. She explained the steps clearly and gave help during the class. The group of 8 was a good size to make a fun atmosphere, with time for Andri to give individual attention when needed. It was nice to learn at bit of the history and philosophy behind kintsugi. We came away with kintsugi bowls we were proud of. Thoroughly recommend this class. + more

We did an introductory embroidery workshop with Stephie who taught us different stitches by embroidering lovely patterns on a set of napkins, which we then got to take home. It was such a lovely experience, Stephie is so personable and knowledgeable, and her workshop was the perfect place for a rainy afternoon. We did this for a birthday day out, none of us had any embroidery experience but Stephie adapted for our various abilities, I can't recommend it enough!!! + more
