Alcohol ink is a vibrant, fast drying, dye-based ink. Alcohol ink is ideal for creating abstract images, as the drying of the ink can be controlled with heat and the delicate blowing of air across the surface.
Under the guidance of your teacher, you and your group will enjoy a guided experience with creating your own works of abstract art to take home with you.
Working with alcohol ink is a therapeutic and relaxing experience that allows you to express your creativity. The process is freeform and unpredictable, which means that patterns and imperfections will emerge as you work. However, these imperfections often lead to the creation of stunning and unique art pieces, making the process even more rewarding.
Please note: The teacher can travel to the venue of your choice within the indicated area. Alternatively, she can arrange venues for small groups of 3-6 people. Please let the teacher know 2 weeks in advance if you would like this to be arranged.

My name is Chihiro, and I'm a Japanese artist specializing in alcohol ink art and line drawing. In addition to my creative pursuits, I'm also a mother of three children (and two cats) and a volunteer worker. What started as a hobby has evolved into a passion for me, especially as I discovered the therapeutic benefits of art-making amidst the busyness and stress of everyday life.
