3 hours Class size 4 to 10     label £35 (£37 per guest when you book for 1+ guests, £35 for 4+ guests)

Discover the joy of silk painting in this delightful painting class in Tonbridge. You'll learn how to create stunning designs on silk fabric, and leave with a masterpiece ready to hang or gift to someone special.

You will make up your design to fit within the hoop size (don't worry, I'll be on hand to help with ideas).

You will then be taken through the stages needed to create your masterpiece and shown special techniques along the way.

We have lots of colours and different tools for you to create something special. At the end of the session, you can back your hoop and finish with ribbon so that it is ready for hanging when you get home - or, of course, giving away as a gift.

You will be given a chance to practise your technique and try out colours before committing to the final piece - this is a no-stress and enjoyable class.

Please note:

  • Our studio is on the second floor, so it is not wheelchair accessible.
  • Tea and coffee will be provided.
  • Parking is available, but please book in advance.

The class will need at least 4 participants to go ahead.

Hello I'm Tania, I offer workshops in all sorts of fabric design and printing. After many years working as a bookkeeper I decided to pursue my long time passion of fabric design. I completed a Fashion textiles: Print Degree at UCA Rochester and since then have been printing my own fabrics, printing fabrics for my products and running workshops.

I live in rural Ashford and run some of my classes from my relaxed, home studios and some at other local businesses such as Craft Ship at Made in Ashford, Nest Studios, Evegate and Brogdale Farm in Faversham.
