What is Forest Bathing?
Forest Bathing which is a multi sensory nature based mindful practice. Forest Bathing originates from Japanese and it is the Japanese government’s antidote to high tech fast paced culture.
This Japanese practice is designed to get us out of heads and into our 5 senses. Known in Japan as shinrin yoku.
The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply can help de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a natural way.
Let’s unlock your inner creativity and I will guide you step by step towards creating something truly unique.
Format:
The meeting point is outside of Three Bridges station. Then we will start our nature walk, leaving the behind the city and we will walk for around 45 mins into nature to start to fully immerse ourselves into nature to practice Nature Bathing.
Afterwards, we will walk 30 minutes back to the Crafting and Fireside where I live. I also run an AirBnB, if you would like to stay over and like the idea of the full retreat experience.
There are also opportunities to visit a local Sunflower field in Summer (around August) and Dutch Style Tulip field in Spring (around April/May). For us to pick the flowers for our crafting. You are welcome to request your preferred dates, and location. I look forward to meeting you.

I am a nature lover and I am a qualified Forest School as well as a Nature Crafts Facilitator.
I have fallen in love with Forest Bathing which is a multi sensory nature based mindful practice. Forest Bathing originates from Japanese and it is the Japanese government’s antidote to high tech fast paced culture.
I discovered it after moving to the countryside after living in Brighton & London in my teens and 20s.
This Japanese practice is designed to get us out of heads and into our 5 senses. Known in Japan as shinrin yoku.
The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply can help de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a natural way.
I came across Nature Crafts while practicing Forest Bathing. This has enabled me to intrinsically reconnect with my inner child and my passion for art after being in the corporate world for the last 10 years. I have come full circle and proudly get to use puts my arts education to good use.
My nature based workshops are inspired by my crafts, I love working with flowers, the five elements and materials that can be found in nature. My teaching encourages reconnection to ourselves using the five senses.
Let’s unlock your inner creativity and I will guide you step by step towards creating something truly unique.
