What you'll do
Don't think you can paint? Then a paint and sip class is perfect for you. It's a fun thing to do in Rye and will introduce you to the colourful world of art supplies and how to use them.
Join talented artist John as he shows you how to paint the painting of the night. There is always a fun art piece to follow, from tropical sunset to groovy cows. John will be on hand to share all his best painting techniques, but there's plenty of room for your own creative flair.
Bring some pals or meet some local like-minded art lovers and bond over your paint palette and favourite drink. All the materials you need to paint are provided, and you can purchase your drinks and nibbles from the venue bar.
During this relaxed art class, you will whip up your handmade masterpiece, which you can then take home and display in pride of place!

Your teacher
We are Alice and John, The Paint Club creators. Painting, creating and adventuring are our passions. We genuinely love the work we do.
We met at university in 2006… Alice studied design and John fine art. We have been together through a lot and make a pretty good team. We have both worked for large corporates, start-ups and independent businesses, so we have a breadth of experience to utilise. We ran our first class in February 2016 with a group of friends in a local pub. It was a great success and The Paint Club was born.
We love being outside and travel as a family when we can. A lot of our paintings are inspired by places we have been. Now we also have a talented team of artists in various locations across England and Wales. All have a unique style and have helped us grow The Paint Club to what it is today.
