Two-Week Beginner's Crochet Course

Ready to start crochet with confidence? Our two-week 'Beginners Guide To Crochet' Bootcamp is designed to give you everything you need to hit the ground running. With guided teaching, hands-on practice, and expert support both in-person and virtually, you’ll finish the course feeling confident enough to crochet projects of your own!Perfect for beginners and people who've learnt the basics but lack the confidence to take on bigger projects, this relaxed and friendly course breaks everything down step by step, with expert guidance throughout in two two-hour sessions, plus an optional WhatsApp group; where you can share progress, ask questions, and get remote support from your tutor, Faith. The group will stay open until one week after the final class!The fee includes your place at both in-person sessions, plus the optional WhatsApp group, and all materials you'll need to get started.Week One – The Foundations (Sunday 24th of Jan 1-3pm)In the first class, you’ll learn the single, double and treble crochet stitches ~ the essential building blocks of crochet. We will then start to create a practice swatch.You’ll receive a ball of yarn and a crochet hook to take home, so you can practice as much as possible in the month between the sessions, there will be a prize for the longest swatch! Week Two – Skills & Next Steps (Sunday 21st of February 1-3pm)The second class begins with a review of your swatches, including troubleshooting and problem-solving any common beginner issues.You’ll then learn how to combine these stitches to create countless beautiful patterns, how to read and choose crochet patterns and how to choose the right yarn for your future projects!All attendees will also receive 10% off all crochet and knitting supplies from ENKI, Kings Heath. All materials for the first class are included. So if you’re looking for a new creative hobby, a confidence boost, or simply a cosy, mindful way to spend your time; this bootcamp is the perfect place to start!
