With guided teaching, hands-on practice, and expert support, you’ll finish the course feeling confident enough to crochet projects of your own!Perfect for complete beginners, this relaxed and friendly course breaks everything down step by step with expert guidance, plus an optional WhatsApp group; where you can share progress, ask questions, and get remote support from your tutor, Faith. The group will stay open until one week after the final class!What to expect:
- Week One – The Foundations: In the first class, you’ll learn the single, double and treble crochet stitches -- the essential building blocks of crochet. We will then start to create a practice swatch.
- You’ll receive a ball of yarn and a crochet hook to take home, so you can practice as much as possible before the second session, there will be a prize for the longest swatch!
- Week Two – Skills and Next Steps: The second class begins with a review of your swatches, including troubleshooting and problem-solving any common beginner issues.
- You’ll then learn how to combine these stitches to create countless beautiful patterns, how to read and choose crochet patterns and how to choose the right yarn for your future projects!
