What you'll do
Discover new wines, learn a thing or two, and enjoy a laid-back evening of wine tasting!
Rachel and Ed will guide you through the world of wine, exploring a wide variety of styles and flavours. The evening is suitable for anyone, from wine novices, to the experts.
Are you unsure about where to start with wine? You'll pick up the skills to taste and judge wine, learn about how your drinks were made, and you'll leave knowing what to look for next time you're buying a bottle.
Or, if you're a dab hand at all things wine and you know your Muscat from your Muscadet, you'll get to try a whole host of new things. Broaden your horizons, and find your new favourite!
Information for Private Events:
Private Events are centred around what you'd like to taste and learn. Would you like a full tasting class with lots of information and a pop quiz? Or would you prefer a relaxed evening where you just get to try lots of tasty wines? It's completely up to you. Below are some suggestions and examples of previous events, but if you have any ideas or requests, let your teacher know when you book:
- Beginners Wine Class
- An introduction to French Wine
- Wild and Wonderful: Pet Nats, Orange & Natural Wine
- English Wine Experience
- An Introduction to Spanish Wine
- An exploration of a Single Varietal - eg. Pinot Noir from different regions
Nibbles and snacks can be provided as an optional extra. You can also upgrade your wine selection - this means you'll be tasting something really special. Would you like to try a beautiful Vintage Champagne, or a rare style of Sherry? The experts will pick out something truly special, just for you!
