Introducing our candle making workshops, where you’ll learn the basics of aromatherapy and essential oil blending, during which you will make three of your own jar candles!
In a small group of up to 10, you’ll get 2 hours of "you" time to build a skill surrounded by like-minded people in a comfortable, relaxing space.
The workshops start with grabbing a free herbal tea, followed by a tour of our essential oils, their benefits, and the key knowledge of aromatherapy blends as well as scent building. You'll get to make blends until you create 3 custom scents you love, before moving on to product making. Your teacher will then walk you through how to wick your container, scent your wax, and pour your candles, for long-lasting candles with a great scent throw and a smooth finish.
Learn to work with our sustainable and all-natural, coconut and rapeseed wax, cotton wicks, and using pure essential oils, so you’ll be using or gifting the highest quality candles!
We’ll provide all the ingredients, you’ll also get a chance to buy hugely discounted products, and we’ll gift you a code for future workshops and online purchases.
Our recipes are vegan, sustainable, and natural.
Note: Our classes are intended to prepare you for your new hobby. If you wish to start a business or pursue commercial interests, please note that our recipes are for personal use only. We do offer business courses which cover compliance, stability testing, and CLPs, if you'd like to know about them, contact us.
For security reasons, the building is locked during classes. Your teacher will be available to let you in from half an hour prior to the session until class starts. At the start of the class, a herbal tea will be provided, after which doors will be locked and class begins. We will not be able to catch up attendees who arrive more than 15 minutes late, and this will be considered a no-show. Thank you for your understanding.

FAQ

Do you do mobile workshops?
Yes! We'll come to you and can even provide recommendations for venues. There is a £100 surcharge for mobile bookings on weekdays, and £200 on weekends.
Can we have a private class if we are a small group?
Yes! Private classes are subject to a £50 fee, but we have groups as small as 3 or 4 during the week. Minimum group size on weekends is 8 people at our venue, and 12 if it's a mobile workshop.
Can I bring my child/baby?
We, on some occasions, will allow teens to attend but this must be discussed in advance. Please contact us if you are booking for anyone under 18. We cannot allow children or babies to attend due to allergens risks and insurance.

Is the venue accessible?
Sadly, no, both our classroom and toilets are on the first floor. There is a total of 16 stairs, with two small landings for breaks if needed.

Welcomed with a cuppa tea (can’t go wrong) and ended on some bubbles. We learned so much without ever feeling rushed, and Bruce took the time to explain everything clearly. We came away with six amazing candles (three each), and it was such a fun, wholesome evening out. Lit the first candle last night and filled the room with smell in only half an hour! Our “teacher” Bruce was super lovely and engaging, giving great and clear instructions meaning we all made a set of beautiful candles. The venue its self was easy to find and the room was lovely!
