  • 5/5 from Elspeth, attended Jun 2026: We had four hours of upskilling and delight! Jen is a brilliant teacher - light of touch, enthusiastic and full of knowledge and frankly, witchcraft of upcycling. I learned a lot and the space to work was glorious. I had a basic knowledge of the sewing machine and Jen taught me exactly how to use it for my projects.
  • 5/5 from Linda McGarrigle, attended Feb 2026: Went along with my own project I needed some extra time and support with. Jen was friendly, patient and able to provide me with expert knowledge to help my move my sewing project to the final stages. The studio is a great place to work, and Jen makes you feel right at home the moment you get there.
  • 5/5 from Karla Butler, attended Feb 2026: With the professional help and creativity of Jenifer, I learned how to add length to a pair of trousers by attaching ruffles to the hem and gained ideas on customizing other garments. I have been in a few of her classes, and I always learn something new. I love her approach to teaching

  • 5/5 from Jen, attended Jan 2024: My daughter (age 13) and I had a brilliant time at this workshop, and Jen was such a patient and supportive tutor! My daughter shortened a skirt that was a bit too long and customised it with a denim panel, and I took an old T-shirt that was tired of life and turned it into a flash new tote bag. This was loads of fun, and easier than you might imagine - and we both agreed we hope to be back for another drop in workshop later this year :)
  • 5/5 from Evangelia Economou, attended Dec 2023: Jen was such a friendly, welcoming teacher that made it so easy to learn a whole new skill! I came in feeling nervous and was immediately out at ease by how lovely, patient and helpful she was! I got way more done in the time than I expected and I’m so pleased with what I fixed! I feel like it’s such brilliant value for money and worth giving a go! Thanks so much!

  • 5/5 from Veronica Royce, attended Oct 2023: My 12 year old daughter and I attended the class. Jen was great at giving us upcycling ideas and helping us with our projects.
