I was gifted this class as a birthday present and it did not disappoint!! Our teacher Shelly was so lovely and funny, really good at explaining the processes too. The venue was sweet, the crafting room was so colourful and fun. Attended this workshop after receiving it as a gift from my daughters. Location was perfect - in a small cafe - and the teacher (Denna) was great. All materials were provided to enable us to make a ring, with 3 options for finish, and we all came out with a fab ring each. It was a great process and would definitely do again.

Unguided Free Flow Painting Workshop
There were plenty of resources & canvas was appropriately sized. The location is also nice- in spitafields market. I really enjoyed this session. I didn't get to finish my tulips within 2 hours but my friend was able to finish her painting, so overall i'd say 2 hours is a good amount of time. It's perfect for being in the present moment & it's quite therapeutic.

I was given a voucher as a present and decided to do a Sauce cooking course at The Avenue Cookery School. Diana was a very engaging teacher. She gave us really good tips and solutions including recipes for sauces that were flexible and useful for so many dishes. She explain the logic of the cooking process without prescribed instructions. Excellent gift idea if wanting to do something more creative! Really enjoyed the class where we made mosaic mirrors. I only wish we had time to have some of the snacks as we were too focused on trying to finish the pieces.
