  • 5/5 from Sandra Oledan, attended Apr 2026: I really enjoyed Variegate's hardwood dish woodcarving workshop -- I had never tried woodworking before but Johanna explained everything from how to use the equipment, the types of wood we would be working with, to carving techniques, very thoroughly. She and Harry were very hands-on and were happy to answer all of our questions throughout the class. I found the process from start to finish very interesting and enjoyed the challenge of trying to shape and carve the wood to my liking. I would highly recommend their classes and will definitely book another class (eyeing the charcuterie class!) again in the future.
