Venue was easy to find and Raymond was very supportive and helped us through the whole process, ensuring we make beautiful bowls. My lesson was with Jet.She showed us things on the phone to help take pictures I didn’t know existed. I particularly liked putting the phone down on the ground to take pictures and also all the different ways of taking pictures of reflections. Rene the teacher is caring, friendly annd amazing. This was booked as birthday present and it is whorty! Nice calm atmosfere and clean enviroment. You will be surprise how much science goes behind making a candle and Rene is very knowledge. She gives all the material that you need and they are well presented. Wheel Throwing Pottery Workshop
This pottery class was a birthday present for my young daughter, as she is keen on crafts. We both had turns on the wheel and Patrick, our teacher, helped us make some great little pots. We then undertook a wonderful project to mould, texture, and colour two lovely dishes (see the picture of the best 2-tone dish). Patrick was wonderful throughout, and kind with my daughter. I was given a voucher as a present and decided to do a Sauce cooking course at The Avenue Cookery School. Diana was a very engaging teacher. She gave us really good tips and solutions including recipes for sauces that were flexible and useful for so many dishes. She explain the logic of the cooking process without prescribed instructions. The perfect gift experience. A friendly atmosphere for both groups and individuals. Very cool space and chilled atmosphere. Amazing teachers who were encouraging and helped at each stage if needed. Great value for money in learning the basics, using the wheel was a highlight and very excited to see the results after the kiln!
