In this Tween & Teen Mosaic Workshop, you'll have a delightful afternoon out, immersed in creativity and fun! If you love crafting and exploring new mediums, this workshop is perfect for you.
Come join me at my next Tween & Teen Pet Plaque Mosaic Workshop and create a mosaic of your pet or favourite animal. Perfect for ages 8-17 years and parents too if you also want to come and get creative!
Each participant will choose a plaque of their choice. There will be 4 dog template plaques, and 4 cat yoga template plaques to choose from or you can choose to create your own design.
During this 2 and a half-hour class, you'll gain valuable insight into the mosaic-making process. You'll start by creating your own unique design, and then you'll get to use professional tile-making tools. With a fabulous selection of mosaic glass at your disposal, you'll bring your design to life.
Once you've completed your tile work, you'll learn the process of grouting. This final step will give your mosaic design a polished look. The best part? You'll get to take your beautiful creation home with you. It's a lush and unique piece that you'll be proud to show off.
Whether you come alone or bring friends, you'll have a great time in this workshop specifically designed for young people. We'll have some tunes playing in the background while you sip on refreshing drinks and enjoy some biscuits. It'll be a morning filled with creativity, laughter, and great company.
No need to worry if you're new to mosaics. This workshop is designed to give you an insight into the process and provide guidance along the way. Working with the materials and using the tools might feel a bit unfamiliar at first, but with the support of the instructor and your own creativity, you'll quickly get the hang of it.

I'm Audrey and I run Montet Designs. I have been creating, making, mentoring and teaching visual art with communities for the past 20 years. As a community artist, working with people is my true passion! I've worked with so many fabulous organisations, schools, charities and community groups creating wonderful small and large scale projects.
In the last 14 years have focused my teaching on mosaic art. I'm super passionate about bringing this art form to as many people as possible! It's relaxing, meditative and accessible to everyone, no matter your age or ability. It's great for teams, colleagues, families and friends and I promise you that even if you think you're not creative, you'll definitely finish my courses with something you'll be proud to show off.
