Make your own Halloween themed mosaic at this mosaic making class in St Albans. Join teacher, Audrey at the Pavilion in Greenwood Park, St Albans and create a mosaic to enjoy this summer. A fun family session creating your very own spooky mosaic in the shape of a pumpkin, skull or ghost!
At your mosaic-making class, you'll enjoy selecting your colours of glass and embellishments from your teacher's vast selection of sparkle and shine to make a truly unique design. You'll also be able to have a go at using professional mosaic making tools to snip your glass, it's great fun!
You'll learn how to construct your mosaic, choosing colours and shapes to make an effective and attractive design. You'll have plenty of time to chat with your teacher and find out all about mosaic making as you work your way through your craft class.
At the end of your craft class, you'll take your design away with a small bag of grout and step by step instructions to grout your lovely mosaic at home. Doing your grouting at home allows the glue to set on your mosaic for the best results! It also gives you a whole other craft activity to enjoy later. It's a great class if you're looking for fun things to do this summer or if you're on the hunt for activities in St Albans.
This mosaic making class is ideal for beginners and is great fun for everyone. Give it a go with your family and friends.
Kids and adults alike can enjoy this mosaic making activity. Get mosaic making with your little ones and create something special for or give them the chance to get creative by themselves and enjoy a cuppa from one of the local fab coffee shops whilst they're busy crafting! I'm Audrey and I run Montet Designs. I have been creating, making, mentoring and teaching visual art with communities for the past 20 years. As a community artist, working with people is my true passion! I've worked with so many fabulous organisations, schools, charities and community groups creating wonderful small and large scale projects.
In the last 14 years have focused my teaching on mosaic art. I'm super passionate about bringing this art form to as many people as possible! It's relaxing, meditative and accessible to everyone, no matter your age or ability. It's great for teams, colleagues, families and friends and I promise you that even if you think you're not creative, you'll definitely finish my courses with something you'll be proud to show off.
