What you'll do
In this 30-minute session, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to handle and blow molten glass while designing and creating your very own Glass Tumbler.
During the workshop, you'll be introduced to the mesmerising world of molten glass and learn the art of glass blowing. You'll have the chance to pick your own colours and experiment with different combinations, shaping the molten glass into a beautiful tumbler. Don't worry if you're a beginner, our expert instructors will guide you every step of the way.
This workshop is perfect as a special treat for yourself or as a unique gift for a loved one. You'll not only gain a new skill, but you'll also have a stunning glass tumbler to take home. Please note that the glass needs time to cool overnight so it won't be available for pickup on the day of the workshop. Pickup times will be arranged during the course, and postage can be arranged at an additional cost if needed.

The Makers Mill is a creative venue in the heart of the lake district in a converted 19th-century mill converted by owners Luke and Sophie Harding.
Alongside our art and design gallery and four permanent makers studios, we have two spaces to run arts and crafts workshops.
We offer full-day, half-day and evening workshops year-round in multiple disciplines and mediums including ceramics, textiles, art, woodwork, glass, floristry and many more.
