We had a wonderful time at Leigh's workshop held in the lovely Santosa cafe. Leigh brought beautiful materials for us to work with and was patient and thorough in her instruction. It was a very relaxed and friendly environment and we made good progress in the time. It was encouraging also to see how other students had advanced since their first tuition. Hoping to progress to a further workshop in due course.

The teacher was very patient and managed to give all the learners good advice when they needed it despite people being of mixed abilities and at different stages of their granny squares. We got to keep three balls of yarn, the marker and the needle thingy. It was great - I just wish I was better at it!

Such a great class, the teacher was so kind and patient, even when it took me a while to get the hang of it, and I have come away feeling confident I can carry on by myself, I would definitely recommend this class and teacher.

I really enjoyed the class learning how to crochet and follow a pattern. The teacher Leigh was very friendly and extremely helpful, spending time with each member of the group to ensure that we knew what we were doing. The location was easy to find, however because of the time of year, the room was a bit cool, however it didn’t dampen any of our spirits. Hot drinks and festive food was available but I was too busy focusing that I forgot to partake of anything.

A really enjoyable class. Leigh took time to make sure everyone knew what they were doing. She was incredibly patient and no question was too daft.
The venue (under the arch cafe) was ideal. Cosy atmosphere and easily accessible for those with mobility issues as the class took place in the main part of the building, so just one small step.
I will definitely be looking for more classes from Leigh as I’m now hooked!

I had a wonderful time at the pumpkin crochet class, despite being a complete novice! Leigh was kind and endlessly patient and enthusiastic. She can support people of all skill levels within one class while maintaining a relaxed, fun atmosphere. There was plenty of material for us all. The pumpkins we produced were beautiful and the venue was cosy. I look forward to the next event! Thank you Leigh.

Leigh's enthusiasm was wonderful! She coped really well with a wide range of abilities and was endlessly patient. She provided a great choice of yarns and it really helped being able to take them home as you could continue practising. A wonderful way to while away a couple of hours and come away feeling as though you’ve achieved something!
