An excellent workshop. The tutor was patient and ensured that everyone knew what they were doing. She waited for people to catch up whilst keeping a steady pace for people who were more confident/competent. The hour and a half were gone in a flash. There is still a lot more to do before it will be completely finished and perhaps this should be made clear at point of sale, as people may expect to have a finished item at the end. Also need to add that you need some paper to work on and scissors to open then the clay and a small bowl of water. The tutor instructed us before the lesson began, but those arriving close to the start really need to be fully prepared. You also need cling film or a plastic bag to keep your work moist until finished. May I also suggest to include a tray so the work can be moved easily, whilst you are still working on it.

Workshop was good. Really enjoyed it. I felt it went a bit too fast. It probably needs to be an hour & a half, as there was an assumption that everyone was working at the same speed as the demonstrator. The problem was, that as it was so hands on, if you stopped to communicate you would have got left behind. It would also have been helpful to have a picture of the finished item. I found it hard working on black paper by unnatural light. However, I did really enjoy it and proud of my achievement.

The time raced by as it was so absorbing. Clear instructions that were easy to follow. Lovely result.

Very enjoyable course, marbling and painting Christmas baubles. The class took place in store, which was a friendly and efficient workspace, although the table was very wide and so hard to reach the materials at time. A sets of material on each side of the table would have been helpful. The teaching was very basic. We were given a very quick introduction and it would have been good to have a little extra intervention at times. I'm not sure how much experience the tutor had had with the product. I was very happy with my results, although the smaller baubles worked much better than the larger ones.

Excellent, informative and fun. The tutor explained everything clearly and patiently waited for me, checking my understanding. I was lucky to be the only student. The kit is excellent. Plenty of resources to practice and develop my new skills. Great value for money. Thank you.

Overall a great workshop, full of handy hints and tips, relevant to the workshop and making other wreaths in the future. Had a beautiful result. Only issue was I couldn’t connect to the lesson for some reason, but made it in time for the majority. Good clear instructions. May be better to give the lesson a slightly longer time as there was quite a lot to get through.

Excellent tuition, Kathryn has endless patience and gives very clear instructions. Really enjoyed the class. You do need to concentrate as it can be a bit fiddly but well worth the effort. Highly recommended and a good starting point if you’re planning the bigger 6 week Granny Square blanket course.

It was an excellent course. The hobbycraft artisan was very friendly and extremely patient. Her instructions were very clear as was her demonstration. Really enjoyed it. I have made some beautiful decorations. Thank you.

An extremely patient teacher. Every instruction was clear and explained and demonstrated fully. If anyone had an issue was dealt with patiently. However, I followed every step and created two lovely squares of crochet. Very pleased and very proud of my achievement. The time flew by. Thank you.

Great workshop. Needs a lot of concentration. Becky was a great teacher, patient, encouraging and understanding. Didn’t feel pressurised at all and able to develop my own ideas.
I would like a spare set of practice sheets as I think more practice will be needed before I try my skills on the actual decorations.
