I really enjoyed the session and felt I had a good grasp of the technique before the end. I am already thinking of what I will do for my Christmas cards this year! The theme will be "Now the holly bears a berry"
Looking forward to exploring this further. I good craft to have in my repertoire.

It was good there were several of us and it made for a good atmosphere. Chrissie was very good and lively and clear with her instructions. She checked the chat box regularly and kept encouraging us. I have done a little pyrography before but struggled with the writing. This was a much better tool and was really easy to use. Again there were more things than we needed in the box which is great as there is lots to practice with and experiment. It was great to be shown the ideas section of Hobbycraft and I had a good look through after the workshop It was a little difficult to find the one which showed me how to do pyrography (the one which has the tools and the "dream" sign) so I had to search separately for that one. But the other ideas were great! Will be using it a lot in future.
Finished off the bunny this morning. Going to give it to my great-nephew and great-niece! Thanks again.

I enjoyed this and found it very relaxing. Louise was able to personalise the lesson as I was the only person attending. She gave good clear instructions and useful tips which was great. I don't feel confident with Art so this was a new experience and I felt I achieved good results. I just did 2 of the small canvases which gives me a chance to experiment in a few days time

I really found the class relaxing and enjoyed the weaving. The explanations were really clear and it was easy to keep to the pace set. I actually carried on weaving for about another half hour after the class finished!
It was great to hear that there is the thought for more advanced classes. I was interested to hear you could make blankets out of weaving small pieces and sewing them together - that sounds fun as do some of the other techniques - herringbone stitches etc. I checked out the links and found these useful reminders as well, Many thanks for another interesting class. Will be signing up for more - it's great to be able to do them from the comfort of my own home - my nearest Hobbycraft is an hour away.

I was the only one so had 1-1 teaching. The brush lettering and will practice some more before I use it on the stars/baubles.

The ideas were great and I will enjoy exploring this new craft.

Some good ideas - I enjoyed the workshop. It was really interesting to work with the clay and there was plenty left!

Some additional ideas given - I have tried the leaf - and I am going to make more stars.
